This letter is to confirm to your company that HF Industries is discontinuing the manufacture of a number of VARIANT 02 09231 #0019B self supercade products as listed on Exhibit C. In accordance with HF Industries' product discontinuation policy, we are hereby giving notice of these product changes in order for your company to adjust its product purchasing records, or to make any final lifetime purchases of the discontinued products that are still in supply.

This notice only applies to HF Industries' customers and distributors in North America. HF Industries' customers and distributors outside North America receive their product discontinuation notices from HF Industries' sales organizations responsible for such international locations.

While Exhibit C covers an extensive listing of discontinued end-of-life part types, they represent a small percentage of HF overall strategic product portfolio. Many of these products have had little or no recent sales history and may cover a number of versions or selections of the same basic product. We are including these items in this notice to insure that our customers and distributors are informed of the obsolescence of these products.

¶1. DESCRIPTION: PRIMARILY FOR ONESELF. OBJECTIVE IS MAINTAIN SURVIVAL FOR MAXIMUM LENGTH POSSIBLE. VARIANT DESIGNS CAN LAST UP TO FOUR MINUTES. THE "SUPERCADE" REFERS TO AN EXCEPTIONALLY DURABLE AND EFFICIENT BARRICADE WITH DEFENDING ABILITY

¶2. APPROACH: PERHAPS THE SINGLE DOMINANT ASPECT OF SURVIVAL IS BARRICADE DURABILITY. BARRICADE AESTHETICS ARE NOT NECESSARY AS THEY LEAD TO INSTABILITY AND WEAKNESSES. THE PRACTICAL METHOD IS TO CONSTRUCT AN EFFECTIVE DESIGN TO PREVENT THE ENEMY FROM HITTING THE BARRICADE IN ORDER TO LEAVE LITTLE ROOM FOR BARRICADE DAMAGE. AVAILABLE OBJECTS OR STRUCTURES MUST BE USED TO ITS MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AS THERE ARE LIMITED AMOUNTS OF MATERIALS.

¶3. REQUIREMENTS: THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPONENTS NECESSARY FOR THOSE WHO WOULD CONSTRUCT A CONSTRUCT:

- --FIRST, ONE REQUIRES THE NECESSARY WORTH. WEAKNESS, SLOW, PALSY, CLUMSY, WIDE LOAD

- --SECOND, NECESSARY EQUIPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SELF SUPERCADE. INFRARED GUN TURRET, ARSENAL CRATE, CARPENTER HAMMER. IF SECONDARY SOURCES AVAILABLE, RETURNS ARE OPTIONAL.

- --THIRD, SELF SUPERCADE LOCATIONS OF ALL ASPECTS OF A MAP MUST BE PAINSTAKINGLY, FORCEFULLY AND REPEATEDLY DEVELOPED. LOCATIONS MUST BE TESTED READILY TO BE ACCEPTED. ONE ENTRANCE IS FIRST PRIORITY. REMOTE LOCATION IS SECOND HIGHEST PRIORITY. AVAILABLE RESOURCES MUST BE CONSIDERED.

- --FINALLY, ONE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THE THREAT OF INTRUSION AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT AND NOT BE COWED BY THE POSSIBILITY. GIVEN THE LIMITATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SUPERCADE BY ONESELF, HE OR SHE IS GOING TO BE AT RISK. THIS MAY BE COUNTERACTED WITH INITIAL BARRIERS TO PREVENT SURPRISE AND PERMIT NECESSARY TIME TO PREPARE ONESELF FOR BESIEGEMENT, HOWEVER TIME IS LIMITED.

¶4. ONE SHOULD EXPECT THE POSSIBILITY OF NEWCOMERS OR NOMADS TO ACCOMPANY, AS THE SUPERCADE SHOULD APPEAR WELL-CONSTRUCTED. THE INFRARED TURRET SHOULD BE PLACED IN A WELL-ADJUSTED, CLOSE LOCATION. THE ARSENAL CRATE SHOULD BE READILY ACCESSIBLE TO PURCHASE SUBMACHINE GUN (SMG) AMMUNITION. QUICK PURCHASES DURING BESIEGEMENT ARE OFTEN NECESSARY. POINTS SHOULD BE CONSERVED FOR SURPLUS PURCHASE DURING INTERMISSION. COMPANIONS WITH MEDICAL KITS ARE USEFUL IN MAINTAINING LIVELINESS. ARMED COMPANIONS PROVE VALUABLE IN ASSISTING IN DECREASING ENEMY PRESENCE AND ELIMINATING INTRUDING HEADCRAB ENEMIES, REDUCING DISTRACTION.

¶6. ADDITIONAL MEASURES SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PREVENT UNEXPECTED FAILURE. THE FIRING WINDOW MUST BE TIGHT BUT FLEXIBLE IN ORDER TO PREVENT INTRUSION BY HEADCRABS WHILE ASSURING MAXIMUM DAMAGE TO THE ENEMY.

HF Foods is a subsidiary of HF industries that specializes in food, headquartered in Boston, MA. In addition to the production of high fructose corn syrup, a cheap sugar used in foods that has shown to be quite unhealthy, though quite profitable, HF Foods also produces delicious confectionery such as chocolate, cakes, pies, ice cream, and bars. Other products are also produced with a diverse product range, focusing on high end market and specialty goods. Although over the years HF Industries has overtaken HF Foods as the primary division of the HF enterprise in revenue generation, HF Foods continues to generate significant revenue for HF.

HF Shipping owns dozens of freighters and handles four-and-a-half billion tons of freight each month. It is equipped several of its own private transportation systems via train rail and overseas. HF Medical is a division of HF that fields many medical personnel throughout the world. HF Medical is known for their advanced medical services.

HF Logistics

HF Logistics is a division of HF that not only fields many strategic military personnel, but also hundreds of technical analysts for logistical support in the field. HF Logistics incorporates aspects of HF Industries and HF Research in order to produce advanced and reliable weapons.
